Setting Hours of Operation

If you would like to turn off LifeSaver monitoring outside of hours of operation, you can do so directly in the portal.

Fleet Administrators can set the driver policy at the corporate level, applying the hours to all drivers in the fleet, or at the fleet group level applying the hours only to drivers under specific group. 

To set hours of operation for your entire company:

  1. In the portal, navigate to the Manage Corporate Policy page. 
  2. Scroll down to Hours of Operation on the bottom right. 
  3. Toggle any days that you do not want monitored to "OFF".
  4. Adjust the hours to the hours when your company has drivers driving.

NOTE: The default is to change the hours of operation for the all of the drivers in your fleet. You do have the option however, to have different hours of operation for each individual fleet group.

To change the settings for an individual fleet group:

  1. In the portal, navigate to the Manage Corporate Policy page.
  2. Scroll down to the Device Policy Settings section on the bottom left. 
  3. Use the drop down next to "Policy settings for" to select the fleet group that you would like to make the adjustment for. The page will refresh and the adjustments you now make to the hours of operation will only apply to that fleet group.
  4. Scroll down to Hours of Operation on the bottom right. 
  5. Toggle any days that you do not want monitored to "OFF".
  6. Adjust the hours to the hours when your company has drivers driving.
