Sending Invitations to Drivers to Download the LifeSaver App

When drivers are uploaded to your portal via a driver template, they will not receive an invitation to download the app immediately.

This way you can proceed with your company rollout of the app and introduce it and your policy before the invitations our sent. Once you are ready for your drivers to install the app, you can trigger the invitations to be sent in the portal. 

To bulk send invitations to your drivers:

  1. In the portal, navigate to the Manage Fleet Drivers page. 
  2. Use the dropdown at the top of the menu on the left to select the group you would like to send the invitations to. 
  3. Once the page refreshes, check the checkbox to the left of "Name of the driver". This will select all of the drivers in the group. 
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Invite Selected Drivers".

Once complete, this will send text messages to your drivers. The message includes a link to the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store depending on the type of device your driver has. They can then download the app and can follow the instructions therein to complete the setup.
