When you use LifeSaver, you are trusting us with your information. We take this responsibility seriously and work hard to protect your information. We do not sell any user information to third parties and are transparent about what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.
What information does LifeSaver collect? LifeSaver collects user data to allow for app and portal functionality. Data we collect includes:
- Information you provide, for example name, username, password, e-mail address, and phone number.
- Information generated when using the app and portal, for example app usage, some location information, mobile device information, log files, and cookies.
How do I delete my personal LifeSaver account?
You can always delete your personal consumer LifeSaver account and data by providing your name and cell phone number in a request sent to support@lifesaver-app.com.
Who owns End User data?
All End User data is owned by you for personal app installation, or your employer for corporate installations. Using the Fleet Portal, your employer can access data, and determine how long to retain your End User data. Employers may also request LifeSaver Mobile to remove such End User data at any time.
What data sharing is in your control?
- Your California Privacy Rights: California law permits residents of California the right to prevent the disclosure. To opt out of having information about you shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes, please contact our Support Team.
- Location Information: If you initially consent to allow Location Services for the LifeSaver app, you can subsequently opt out of this setting, at any time, by changing the preferences on your mobile device or deleting the app. Please note that LifeSaver needs you to "always allow" Location Services to work properly. If you do not consent, the LifeSaver App, or certain features, will no longer function.
- Cookies: Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect functionality of the app.
