How to Set Up a Passkey

Admins can use passkeys to log into the portal improving security of your account.

Passkeys supported include Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, and hardware security keys. These are offered as a secure, phishing-resistant replacement for traditional passwords.

We strongly recommend enabling passkeys on all admin and safety officer accounts as a security upgrade. In addition to being more secure, passkeys make day-to-day sign-in much faster since there’s no password to remember, type, or reset.

How to Set Up a Passkey

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. Scroll down to the Passkeys section.
  4. Click Add a passkey.
  5. Follow the browser prompt to complete setup using your biometric login, device PIN, or hardware security key.

Important Things to Know About Passkeys

Password Login Is Disabled After Setup

Once a passkey is registered on an admin or supportadmin account, password-based login is no longer allowed for that account.

From then on, you’ll sign in using:

  • The “Sign in with passkey” button on the login page, or
  • Your browser/device autofill prompt when selecting the email field

You Can Register Multiple Passkeys

You can add multiple passkeys to the same account, including:

  • One per device
  • A hardware security key as a backup option

Most providers including Apple, Google, and password managers like 1Password, automatically sync passkeys across your personal devices, so a single setup often works seamlessly across both desktop and mobile.
