Downloading the app on the driver's device and finding a driver's OTP code in the portal.
We use Twilio to send out automated text messages when drivers are invited to join your fleet group. Once the app is downloaded, we send a one-time password (OTP) to verify the driver's phone number. It is possible that a driver may have inadvertently blocked incoming text messages from Twilio. If your driver does not receive the invitation or the OTP code text, no worries. Since their number is already tied to your account, they can download the app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store directly and use the portal to get their OTP code.
To download the app on iPhones:
- Open the Apple App Store on your iPhone.
- Search for "LifeSaver - Distracted Driving".
- Download the app here.
To download the app on Androids:
- Open the Google Play Store on your iPhone.
- Search for "LifeSaver - Distracted Driving".
- Download the app here.
If your driver does not receive the one-time password:
- In the portal, navigate to the Manage Fleet Drivers page.
- Hover over the Online Status Icon at the end of the row of the driver not receiving the code.
- Have the driver enter the 5-digit "Latest OTP code".
This will allow the driver to complete the verification process.
