You will want to make sure you always enable location services for the LifeSaver app.
With the most recent update to iOS, drivers are frequently prompted to confirm they would like to continue to have location services enabled for the LifeSaver app. You will need to make sure you tap "Always Allow" when prompted. Additionally, after initial installation, you will need to go into your settings and set the location services to "Always".
If the location services setting is not enabled, your driver score will be negatively impacted with inactive day violations as the app will not be able to connect properly. To initially configure the location services setting after install, or if the location services setting becomes disabled after install, follow the steps below.
To enable location services on iPhones:
- Go to your iPhone's Settings app
- Scroll down and tap on "LifeSaver"
- Tap "Location"
- Tap "Always"
- Toggle Precise Location "ON" so it shows green
Moving forward, when prompted per the screenshot below, you will need to tap "Always Allow" to ensure you do not incur inactive day violations.
