An inbound call is any incoming call that is answered by the driver during a drive. Inbound calls answered by the driver can be set to trigger a violation and appear on the driver's violation report. You also have the option to exclude any calls that are made via Bluetooth from becoming a violation under the “Manage Corporate Policy” page.
You can choose whether or not to have these violations affect the driver's score by assigning pointsto this violation type.
To increase or decrease the impact of this violation on your driver's score follow these steps:
- Go to the Manage Corporate Policy page in your portal and scroll down to the “Monthly Score Settings”.
- Change the point value of this violation and/or weight.
- Click the blue “Save” button.
For Androids only, you may also block inbound calls. To do so follow these steps:
- Go to the “Manage Corporate Policy”.
- Scroll down to “Device Policy Settings”.
- Toggle “Block Inbound Calls” on.
- Click the blue “Save” button.
