I Made a Change in the Portal, but It Did Not Take Effect in the App

How long does it take for the app to connect with the portal?

When you make a change in the Manage Corporate Policy page of the portal, the change may not immediately take effect. When not in use, the app checks in with the server every four hours to report its status and check for any changes or updates. When the app checks in, the changes made in the portal are then applied to the app. As such, the changes will be applied to your entire company account within a 4 hour time-frame. The changes may take effect in less time, depending on when in the cycle you make the change. The maximum time it will take to apply the changes to all devices however, is four hours. 

If you would like the changes to take effect immediately, you can make the change in the portal and then open the app. Opening the app, after it has been closed, forces the app to report its status and check in with the server. This check in will trigger the app to take in the change made in the portal.
