Disabling Drivers in the Portal

If your driver is experiencing issues in with the app, you may have the option to disable the app for that users.

This feature is intended for users that have a Mobile Device Manager (MDM) on their device, who cannot make changes or delete the app on their own. This feature should not be used when a driver is temporarily out of the office or on vacation. If the driver is on vacation, you should use the Out Of Office feature in corresponding tab of the the Manage Fleet Drivers Page. 

To disable the app for a driver:

  1. In the portal, navigate to the Manage Fleet Drivers page
  2. If necessary, use the drop down to switch the group to locate the target driver
  3. Locate the driver and the blue "Action" button and arrow at the end of their row
  4. Click the blue down arrow next to the "Action" button
  5. Click "Disable LifeSaver" to disable LifeSaver for the target driver

That driver will now have a red box around their row, indicating that the app has been disabled for that driver. Please note that disabling LifeSaver means that the app will not prevent the driver from using their phone while driving and will not any record violations, including inactive days) for that driver. 

When you are ready to re-enable the app, follow the same instructions above, and at step 5, click "Enable LifeSaver". This will reactivate the driver and make sure the app returns to normal functionality.
